Sports Rules
These Sports Rules explain how sports bets are placed, accepted, calculated, and settled at Bitfortune. By placing a bet, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these rules together with the General Terms & Conditions.
Bitfortune may update these rules to reflect regulatory, operational, or product-related changes. Unless stated otherwise, the version published at the time the bet is placed will apply.
Definitions
An Event is a scheduled sporting match or competition available for betting. A Market refers to a specific betting option within an event, such as match result, totals, or handicaps. Odds represent the price offered for a selection at the moment the bet is accepted. A Selection is the outcome chosen within a market. A Single bet consists of one selection, while an Accumulator, also known as a combo or parlay, includes two or more selections combined into one bet.
General Betting Principles
All bets are subject to availability and acceptance by the system. A bet becomes valid only once it is confirmed as accepted and is visible in the player’s bet history.
Markets may be suspended or removed at any time, including during significant changes in match conditions. Bets placed after an event has started may be available as live or in-play bets where offered.
Placing Bets
Players are responsible for checking the accuracy of their selections, stake amounts, and odds before confirming a bet.
If a bet is placed due to a verified technical issue, Bitfortune reserves the right to void the bet or settle it based on the intended market and official result. Bets placed at clearly incorrect odds or affected by obvious data errors may also be declared void.
Odds and Payouts
Displayed odds may change before a bet is accepted. Once accepted, the bet is settled using the confirmed odds.
Potential winnings are calculated according to the odds format shown. For accumulator bets, total odds are generally calculated by multiplying the odds of each individual selection.
Types of Sports Bets
Bitfortune offers both pre-match and live betting options. Common bet formats include single bets and accumulators.
Additional bet types such as system bets, special markets, or enhanced and promotional offers may be available from time to time. Any specific conditions related to such offers are displayed at the time of bet placement.
Live (In-Play) Betting
Live betting markets reflect the ongoing status of an event and may be suspended frequently. Odds and availability can change rapidly.
If a significant event occurs, such as a goal, red card, or major time adjustment, the market may be temporarily suspended to update prices. A live bet is valid only if accepted before the relevant market suspension or odds update.
Event Start Times and Statistics
Displayed event start times and live statistics are provided for informational purposes only and may not be accurate in real time.
All bets are settled based on official results and data issued by the relevant governing body, not on temporary on-screen statistics.
Settlement and Official Results
Bets are settled according to the final official result recognized by the governing body of the sport.
If an official result is later amended and clearly documented, settlement corrections may be applied. Minor statistical adjustments that do not affect the official outcome usually do not change settlement unless the market explicitly depends on that statistic.
Postponed, Abandoned, or Interrupted Events
If an event is postponed, suspended, or abandoned, settlement depends on the specific market rules and whether the event is completed within an acceptable timeframe.
In many cases, bets remain valid if the event resumes and is completed within the defined period. Otherwise, bets may be voided. Markets that are already fully decided at the time of interruption may still be settled based on the completed portion of the event.
Market-Specific Rules
Match result markets are normally settled based on the result at the end of regular time, unless the market clearly states that extra time or penalties are included. In football, this usually means ninety minutes plus stoppage time.
Totals and handicap markets are settled using the final score within the timeframe specified in the market description.
Player and team performance markets are settled using official statistics. If a listed player does not participate in the event at all, related markets may be void unless stated otherwise.
Multiple Bets and Related Outcomes
Where betting rules restrict combining closely related outcomes that create an unfair advantage, Bitfortune may void or adjust such bets. This applies to combinations that effectively represent the same underlying result across different markets.
Limits, Restrictions, and Account Responsibility
Maximum stakes, maximum payouts, and market-specific limits may apply and can vary by sport, competition, and bet type.
Bitfortune may restrict betting activity to manage risk, prevent misuse, or comply with legal requirements. Players are responsible for keeping their account details secure and for all betting activity conducted through their account.
Errors and Obvious Mistakes
If an obvious error occurs in odds, event information, or market parameters, Bitfortune reserves the right to void bets placed at incorrect prices. This includes situations where the odds are clearly inconsistent with the actual probability of the outcome.
Responsible Betting
Sports betting should be treated as a form of entertainment. If betting becomes difficult to control, players are encouraged to set limits or take a break.
Disputes and Complaints
If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly, you must contact customer support and provide your bet ID and relevant details. All disputes are reviewed based on these Sports Rules and official event data.
